OpenNMS OTRS HTTPS disableCNCheck

Steven Vacaroaia
Hi,

It will be greatly appreciated if any of you can share how the manage to get OpenNMS to talk with OTRS over HTTPS

The error message is:

 "
java.io.IOException: The https URL hostname does not match the Common Name (CN) on the server certificate in the client's truststore.  Make sure server certificate is correct, or to disable this check (NOT recommended for production) set the CXF client TLS configuration property "disableCNCheck" to true.
        at org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPConduit$WrappedOutputStream.onFirstWrite(HTTPConduit.java:1283) ~[cxf-rt-transports-http-3.1.7.jar:3.1.7]
.."

Many thanks
Steven

Re: OpenNMS OTRS HTTPS disableCNCheck

Dino Yancey
it's complaining about a hostname mismatch between the certificate
canonical name and the server you're connecting to.  Why don't these
match?  if you open the URL you're pointing OpenNMS to for OTRS in a
browser, do you get a certificate error?  What's the CN on the cert?
What's the URL you're connecting to?
