Notification for ALL red SNMP Traps

Jason Borne
Is there a way to send a notification for any SNMP TRAP event that is classified as red? (error, critical, etc..)

I dont want to create a rule for every trap....I want a blanket all snmp traps that are deemed to be red..

Is this possible?

TIA!

Someone Somewhere
***RESOLVED***

This is what worked for me

Add the below entry into notifications.xml

    <notification name="Trap Received" status="on" writeable="yes">
        <uei>~.*/traps/.*</uei>
        <description>A Trap was Received</description>
        <rule>(IPADDR IPLIKE *.*.*.*)</rule>
        <destinationPath>ADMIN</destinationPath>
        <text-message>%severity% Trap on node: %nodelabel%, interface:%interface%.UEI: %uei% Parameter %parm[all]%</text-message>
        <subject>RED: Trap received on %nodelabel%.</subject>
        <event-severity>major|critical</event-severity>
    </notification>
