Fault Polling for multiple modules

Mandeep
When opennms polls an OID that a device has multiple components, the monitor will report “Down” situation even if just one component is down.

For example, one of the 6500s  both power supply and fan monitors are showing outage because one returned value in each category is out of range.

[root@opennms-lab etc]$snmpwalk -c ussr -v 2c 10.135.19.19 .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.3
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.4.1.3.1 = INTEGER: 1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.4.1.3.2 = INTEGER: 1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.4.1.3.3 = INTEGER: 6

[root@opennms-lab etc]$snmpwalk -c ussr -v 2c 10.135.19.19 .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.3
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.5.1.3.1 = INTEGER: 1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.5.1.3.2 = INTEGER: 6

So the alarm doesn’t provide info on which specific component is down. Is there any way to alert on a specific component.
