Custom Trap Event not being used?

Aaron Paxson-2
All, I have created a custom event based on SNMP_Link_Up/Down event.  I'm using varbinds and the source interface to do the filtering.  For some reason, I'm still seeing the generic event, and not my custom event.  Any idea what I did wrong?

OpenNMS was restarted successfully, and I see my custom event listed when adding a new notification, but I don't know why ONMS isn't associating the Generic Link_Up trap with the custom event.  Below is the Link_Down trap that also isn't working.

Maybe I'm using "source" incorrectly?

Here is the Mask information for my custom event:

        <mask>
          <maskelement>
            <mename>id</mename>
            <mevalue>.1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.4</mevalue>
          </maskelement>
          <maskelement>
            <mename>generic</mename>
            <mevalue>3</mevalue>
          </maskelement>
          <maskelement>
            <mename>source</mename>
           <mevalue>10.10.8.2</mevalue>
          </maskelement>
          <!-- Parameter#3 is the ifType.  18 = DS1 -->
          <varbind>
            <vbnumber>3</vbnumber>
            <vbvalue>18</vbvalue>
          </varbind>
        </mask>
        <uei>uei.vsmgroup.com/voice/t1controllerdown</uei>

Here is the event coming into trapd:

2008-09-10 12:25:12,688 DEBUG [TrapQueueProcessor] Snmp4JTrapNotifier$Snmp4JV2TrapInformation: V2 trap numVars or pdu length: 5

Re: Custom Trap Event not being used?

Removing the:

<maskelement>
  <mename>source</mename>
  <mevalue>10.10.8.2</mevalue>
<maskelement>

Fixed my custom event.  What does they keyword "source" expect as a value?

Thanks!
